Comprising seven members, BTS has redefined the K-pop landscape, captivating a diverse international fan base -including in my own country, Iran. Praised by their fans for their supposedly seamless fusion of various musical genres, impactful lyrics, and dynamic performances, BTS has become a symbol of cultural transcendence. Beyond music, the band tries to garner more support by strategically emphasizing themes of self-love, resilience, and social awareness and mutual respect. With record-breaking achievements and a commitment to authenticity, BTS continues to shape the music industry and inspire a fervent global following. This article explores the subtle ways in which BTS strategically incorporates religious elements of belief, mythology, practices, and social organization to establish and sustain a dedicated fan base. This study employs a data-mining approach to follow Iranian BTS ARMY members’ activities for their favorite band in the three consecutive years of 2021, 2022, and 2023. We classified terms Iranian ARMY members used to support BTS. We found that at the core of BTS's appeal is their ability to resonate with the deeply ingrained human need for belief. The band skillfully weaves ideas and values into their music, addressing themes that transcend cultural boundaries. Through their lyrics and performances, BTS touches upon universal concepts of love, friendship, and personal growth, creating a shared belief system that resonates with fans worldwide. This not only fosters a sense of connection but also establishes a collective identity among their diverse fan base.
